We run 3-hour interactive workshops that will help you to figure out your plan of attack, so that you leave the session knowing what your next priorities are.
The aim of The Business Activators workshop is to EDUCATE and INSPIRE.

In Amanda’s session she will give you practical tips that she has shared with her clients for over 20 years in a fun way without all the jargon so many accountants insist on using which has you leaving their office in a headspin. You will leave the session with a whole new outlook and mindset on why it is so important to have ownership of your numbers, finance and taxes and you will be geared up to start having a very different conversation with your accountant!
Technology moves fast and many of the new inventions in the business space have revolved around marketing – meaning there is a lot more to know and it can feel really overwhelming! But Holly Martin, of The Marketing GP understands this and is passionate about helping small businesses to go back to basics with marketing and first understand who they want to be their customer and what they want to say to them. It’s only then that it’s time to start looking at the different tools available to you.
She’s a whizz at taking one piece of marketing content and using it many ways. So in her session you will brainstorm your ideal client, as well as learn how to develop your key messages and understand how to leverage your marketing content.
Having worked for 20 years in safety, Sarah-Jane Dunford of Riskology and The Safety Academy of Australia cuts through the jargon and gives a practical understanding of the due diligence requirements for small to medium business owners and how to apply that in your workplace.

Amanda Gascoigne is a Chartered Accountant. After 18 years of running her own accounting practice she is now coaching and mentoring other small and solo accounting practice owners on how to have better practices and better lives.
One of the things Amanda is also passionate about is helping accountants and their clients having more positive, rewarding and lasting relationships and she does this by educating, empowering and encouraging both sides.
Amanda is an author for MYOB and has been on the ATO’s Single Touch Payroll Readiness Working Group since October 2016.

Holly Martin is a small business marketing dynamo! She breaks down marketing jargon and concepts so SME businesses can confidently take control of their marketing and make educated decisions.
She is the Chief Marketer of The Marketing GP, consulting with businesses to ensure their marketing is strategic, integrated and leveraged. Holly is an experienced marketing and communication professional. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, holds a Masters of Marketing and a Bachelor of Communication, and is a former Associate Degree of Marketing lecturer.
The Marketing GP also runs a 12-week marketing course designed for business owners, administration staff and marketing graduates.

SJ has been involved in many facets of managing WHS in roles as a Health, Safety and Environment Manager for multi-national organisations and in consultancy roles. Her specialty is with the development, audit and implementation of WHS policies and procedures that are compliant with legislation in all states of Australia whilst cutting out the jargon to engage users. She has been on the receiving end of health and safety audits and, as a qualified auditor herself, she fully understands what components need to be included in policies and procedures to be compliant with the law. SJ holds a Masters OHS, Masters Business in Industrial Relations Law, a certified auditor and in her spare time farms bison.

The ‘Build A Website with Wordpress’ course will be presented by website and social media expert, Laurel Papworth. Laurel was named by Forbes magazine in the Top 50 Social Media Influencers globally, and Marketing Magazine named her “Head of Industry, Social Media”. Laurel has been teaching social media at Sydney University since 2005!
